"Customized Writing"
Certainly I have been mistaken for years
Always confused for pleasure
Here not for your entertainment
But rather to feed your soul
Feel me in every inch of you, allow me in
I am the sensation felt after the sweetest kiss
The refreshing taste to quench your thirst
Lasting for a lifetime so that you will remember me with every step you take
It is something that comes over you when you truly experience me
Leaving you in a state of disbelief
Captivating your thoughts for more than a moment
Elevating you beyond gravity
Floating to the reaches of heaven
Leveling off at the point where our souls collide
I become a part of you and you a part of me
This is the place where space and time are infinite
Take me in with each breath
Inhaling what it truly feels like to be on Cloud 9
For this is no ordinary experience of bliss

Let Go, Release
By Theodore R. Goyins, III "TRG3"
Sometimes it is easier to hold on versus letting go
This way you can allow for the wall you have built to grow stronger
Protecting your heart from the hurt you once felt
You promised yourself you would never feel this pain again
That you would guard yourself by any means necessary
Even if it meant holding on to things that have a worn out grip
You thought maybe by changing your emoitional posture it would create change
And the tightness of your squeeze would somehow extract the greater in the very thing you hold
Exasperating the time because you thought your grip was strong enough
The hardest thing to do is to let go
But this is what you must do to be free
Relieving yourself of self-guilt and a hardened heart
Releasing into the universe that you are free from holding on to what is lost
Immediately finding that your love is not confined to holding on
But that you are able to plant your love in the things that grow
For your heart to expand to all that is supposed to enter.........
You must Let Go, and Release

Haiti
By Theodore R. Goyins, III "TRG3"
She was already struggling to keep her balance
Pullling from the strength of those who sought her as refuge
Famine struck her house with vengeance
Leaving her family in a very desolate place
Searching for the source that would provide for their basic needs
She was hurting and her hurt multiplied to her live-in guest
There were long lost sisters and brothers who came to her aid periodically
Even some camped out in her backyard to provide constant support
She needed this relief
This relief would soon be needed more than ever and at greater multitudes
Her world would be changed forever
The very center of her would be shaken to pieces
Haiti had her heart torn a part
She was not built to withstand this type of damage
Her foundation had been in a fragile state for years but it was improving
Now that her heart had been broken it greatly affected the lives of her siblings
They would climb from the rubble, which was once the heart of Haiti
Some were never able to recover from seeing their sister broken
So they perished among the broken pieces of Haiti
.....To Be Continued.......

One Last Wish
By Theodore R. Goyins, III (TRG3)
Excerpt from My Book
*Dedicated to my God Mother, Aunt Cheryl* Thank you for being who you are!
The pain of love often has its way of operating for the good
In the beginning it hurt to see the one you love inflict self pain
Creating a gap between our hearts, leading to the demise of our relationship
Leaving me to care for the three angels that God blessed me with
Hard at times, but I persevered
Tired at times, but God gives me stregth
Battling through the years to exemplify what a great mother looks like
Years weighing heavy on my heart
I am a survior of love and life.
At the point where I found love and knew it was my destiny
God had a different plan for my relationship to be
But before God would have his way, my partner had one last wish.....

When Men Cry
By Theodore R. Goyins, III
Excerpt From My Book
It hurt me but I couldn't cry
Storing every tear away in my emotional storage closet
In this closet I experience emotional safety
Not releasing any of its' content because I believed it to be emasculating
Sadness draping the hanger of its' security
It was safe tucked away in the back
No matter the fact that the length of time had created moths to eat away at the very fabric of my being
It hurt me but I didn't cry
Hoarding each tear and placing at the back of my emotional closet

Coming Soon.......
By Theodore R. Goyins, III
*Dedicated to all beautiful single women around the world*
I know your feeling like life is a movie
Playing over and over in your home theater
Wondering who picked the cast for your love story
All these characters would be nothing that you would have selected
But I know your not worried about all the arbitrary roles
You are only concentrated on the auditions for the lead role
Who would play your confidant; your lover?
Seems as if all your former auditions have been for a drama or horror feature
You are tired of going through these casting calls
Finding not one who will quite fit the script that you wrote
Saying," Well he doesn't look right for the part or I don't like the way he reads the lines"
His lines doubling as his ability to communicate the thoughts of the character that you have created in your mind
After you have cut and rid of those that absolutely don't fit the role
You will narrow down the field to find the perfect fit
Creating a blockbuster film for you and him to act out each time your together
Changing your script every single time allowing your love story to evolve
You will look back on all the times you sat through the previews and became antsy
Saying, "When is the movie going to begin?!"
The casting process is long and tedious
It is also very necessary
Wait it out
Coming soon to a home theater near you is your greatest love story!

Daddy Left
By Theodore R. Goyin III
Excerpt from My Book
Looking out the window at an empty driveway
Waiting for that car they remember so vividly to pull up
As soon as she saw the car she would run out because she knew Daddy had a gift for her
Sitting at the same window for years since the last time she received a gift
This is the place where many young woman around the world sit
Hoping that this time will be different
Daddy left without a trace
And I doubt she even remembers his face
